Sweltering Celt

Well, since I didn’t get a chance to post it yesterday (trust me, I’m seriously afraid of posting ANYTHING on April Fool’s Day), Ranger convinced me to wait until tonight to post the contest winner. And, of course, I’m lazy and don’t feel like getting off my tuckus to take the picture I originally intended (hey now, I’m running on next to no sleep) so I’m going to post the winning entry as this week’s HNT. HA!

I honestly think this was nearly impossible for me. I actually loved ALL the entries (including the adorable sketch that a certain SOMEONE thought was horrible but submitted anyways, and I’m so glad she did – I LOVE it!) but someone has to win, right?

I was kind of grateful that Ranger made the final decision – I have officially decided I feel like I’m letting someone down when I don’t pick theirs, especially when they’re all as awesome as the entries were.

Having said that, props go out to Thursday’s Child for making Ranger exclaim “OOOOH! You ARE all rocked out!” and then pick that as his favorite. Like me, he loved them all (especially the sepia tones) and thought it was absolutely adorable that all the picture redos were done with the same original. Since he took the picture and all.
