Sweltering Celt

Microfantasy Monday (MfM) is something I came up with, mostly for myself as a way to keep me writing sexy stuff, even in tiny bits. I had originally hoped to be able to write out full fantasies once a week, but they take a long time for me and I tend to end up frustrated with myself. MfM was born out of a desire to provide hot writing for my readers and challenge myself.

After only a week, I realized that I have blogger friends out there that struggle from time to time finding something to write about. I extended the invitation to join me and began the official MfM as you see it now.

So here’s the official deal as I see it:

Every weekend, I’ll post a theme for Microfantasy Monday. It could range from vanilla to a double scoop of rocky road with extra nuts, but it will be a theme. Whether or not you choose to follow the theme is up to you. Keep in mind that this is a MICRO fantasy, so the only thing necessary is a paragraph or so to set the scene so your readers can use their imagination to fill in the rest of the details.

DO describe in however much detail you want a single “snapshot”, if you will, of a sexual scene.
DO let your inner (still) camera zoom in or out as much as you want.
DO mention in the theme’s comments once you’ve posted.
DO try to comment on others’ MMs.
DON’T describe the whole scene – leave something for the imagination!

Having said that, enjoy yourself – this was originally a way for me to overcome writer’s block and start thinking sexy again. There are no requirements, there are no lofty expectations. Just a few sentences is all I ask!
