Ooooops.  There’s only two hours left of Monday here and I just remembered to post the theme!  So since I’m a goof, this week’s theme is: Forgetting.

Hi everyone!  Once again, I’m sticking with themes that reflect what’s going in my life.  Mostly because I’m lazy like that, but also because it’s fun to see where you guys take something in a COMPLETELY different direction – how cool!  One of my favorite things about Microfantasy Monday is how you guys really surprise me with stellar fantasies, even when I give you really cryptic or vague themes.  It’s really exciting to see what you’ll come up with every week…

So this week, write about Approval.  Oooh, I know, SNEAKY.

As of 1:12 this afternoon, I am a non-smoker.  After smoking for almost half my life (with two extended pauses) this time is a little different.  Not only did I quit for MYSELF (despite the agreement I made four years ago with my mother) but I quit because I wanted to.

This week, the MfM theme is Addiction.  Kind of strange to write a fantasy about it, but at the same time I have faith that you can!!!

Guess what, everyone!  This is the weekend I graduate from college!  As a matter of fact, when this post publishes, chances are pretty darn good I’ll be sitting somewhere on or near a stage in front of hundreds of people, preparing to give one of the student commencement speeches.

I am most likely not on my computer or near anything this weekend, but will be back to check to see if you’ve done your homework ;)

This week, in honor of ME (hey, I deserve it once in a while), write a fantasy about Graduation.  Any kind of graduation.  While this isn’t really a coming of age for me, it is sure one hell of a transition and caps four years of hard work, long hours, and consumption of a lot of unhealthy food and drinks.  I am SO GLAD TO BE DONE!

It’s JUNE!  Now, ever since I played a Carousel medley in the last Symphony concert, every time I think of June I think of the song “June is Bustin’ Out All Over” from the musical.  And the not-so-subtle changes in lyrics that make it a very bawdy song.

This week, take me somewhere musical.  Whether you want to rewrite a song with dirty lyrics, or set a fantasy to music, or or or… just make sure music comes into it somewhere.

It’s Memorial Day weekend here in the States.  This is a time where we choose to remember all who have gone before us, but in particular men and women of the military who have died.  While I don’t want to undermine the validity of the holiday, I do think it’s a fun time to throw out a little fantasy that might not pop into very many heads very often…

This is kind of a longer theme, but try to keep the fantasy micro… I’d like to see you write some kind of historical military fantasy, and my leaning would be towards it set in wartime.  Maybe an Army nurse seduces her patient, or a local prostitute gets an extra tip from a liberating company… those are just a few ideas to get you started!

Sorry we missed a week there, folks.  Apparently I forgot that I ran out of prescheduled posts and was fishing all weekend… whoops!

The weather has been playing a lot of tricks on us lately.  It’s still snowing sporadically here, and I for one am darn tired of it.  It’s only a few weeks to graduation, and it’s SNOWING!  Ugh.  Please bear with me as I try to wrap up my college career; I hope to get back to regular posting once I do finish school and get into a more reasonable schedule (preferably with a job too) and have time to write for me instead of instructors.

This week, your challenge is kind of offbeat.  Write a fantasy surrounding Virtual Reality.  :)

This weekend is Mother’s Day in the United States and many other countries.  And since I am a mom in addition to everything else, sometimes it’s nice to know that people fantasize about their favorite MILFs.  This week, don’t get disgusting on me or anything, but I’d like to know what turns you on about your favorite MILF.  What about a woman who has given birth is sexy to you?  Make it MILF Monday.

Another week, another theme.  It’s May now, and May means for me a break from the chilly weather that always seems to plague us through the early months of spring.  We can finally get outside and start enjoying the outdoors.  One of my favorite things to do in these warm but not too warm months is going to be your theme for the week:

Getting Lost in the Forest

It’s still April, and as the saying goes, “April Showers bring May Flowers.”  But do they really?  We’re in a drought here, but I still love the few moments of sprinkles we get once in a while.  This week, bring me some extra precipitation.  Your theme is…

Rain.
